- Make sure your product not only has the right ingredients, but also that it doesn't have the wrong ingredients.
- Be product-focused, not sales-y. Don't be slick, be genuine and real.
- Be patient, and take whatever limited shelved in a limited # of stores that you can. National distribution starts small.
- Sell the regional and/or local buyer, not just the national buyer. Local management can make buying decisions at Whole Foods.
